DVM, Emergency & Critical Care
Dr. Kaleigh Robinson grew up in California and loved playing veterinarian with her pets growing up. She was highly involved in her community FFA and got her first job in a veterinary clinic at 16 years old. She attended University of California Davis and received a Bachelors degree in Animal Science. Then she obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University.
After veterinary school, Dr. Robinson completed a year long small animal medicine and surgery internship before coming to work at 1st Pet. Her medical interests include emergency and critical care as well as soft tissue surgery. Dr. Robinson also has an interest in exotic and wildlife medicine and has traveled to Australia and South Africa to work with private conservation medicine programs.
At home Dr. Robinson enjoys the company of her cat and her red foot tortoise. She and her husband often pass the time by playing board games like Settlers of Catan or watching Harry Potter movies.
