Dr. Kathleen Tan grew up in Los Angeles sampling the wealth of food in the San Gabriel Valley with her two sisters and brother.

She earned her Bachelors of Science in Microbiology at the University of California, Los Angeles and then completed her veterinary degree at Midwestern University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in Glendale, Arizona. Her special interests include emergency and critical care medicine, soft tissue surgery and ophthalmology.

While at home, she may be experimenting with a new recipe, behind the lens of a camera or at the gym.
