Dr. Jennifer Fryer earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University. She completed a small animal internship followed by a residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at Texas A&M University.

Dr. Fryer has extensive experience in internal medicine, telemedicine, and clinical consultation. She has worked in referral practice, providing internal medicine support for complex cases, including ultrasound. She is also the founder of one of the earliest veterinary telemedicine platforms, Veterinary Answers, where she helped develop collaborative consultation models for veterinarians.

Her professional interests include chronic disease management, diagnostic problem-solving, and supporting primary care veterinarians with both routine and complex medical cases. She is Fear Free Certified and a Pet Nutrition Coach, with a strong focus on patient comfort and client education.

Dr. Fryer is passionate about clear communication and believes that the best outcomes come from a team approach involving the veterinarian, the care team, and the pet’s family.

Dr. Fryer enjoys writing and contributing educational content to help veterinarians and pet owners better understand medical conditions and treatment options.
