Dr. Justine Mumaw is a proud Arizona native who graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Biology and earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University. She completed a small animal internship in Los Angeles before returning to Arizona, where she spent 11 years in clinical practice and became Board Certified in Canine and Feline Practice through the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP).
Since joining 1st Pet Chandler in 2014, Dr. Mumaw has served as both a Primary Care veterinarian and the Hospital Director. Her professional interests include feline medicine, internal medicine, clinicopathology, and diagnostic imaging.
Outside of work, she enjoys time with her husband, two sons, five cats, and a boa constrictor named Tenzin. She loves traveling, discovering new restaurants, and playing board games.
