Dr. Shayna Nagy was born and raised in rural Montana. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Animal Science from Washington State University in 2019. She then moved on to Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona for veterinary school. She was originally interested in practicing large animal medicine, but developed an interest for small animal emergency medicine during her clinical year of veterinary school.

In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding, hiking with her dog Burke, and watching anime.
