Dr. Sidaway has over 25 years of veterinary clinical practice, business, and academic experience. He has worked in general practice, three private specialty referral centers, two universities (Mississippi State University and Midwestern University), and as a founder and owner of a mobile veterinary surgery practice.

He was the founding dean of Midwestern University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. While at Midwestern University, he helped start and open multiple components of the teaching hospital including the small animal surgery and physical rehabilitation services.  

He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American College of Veterinary Surgeons, the Veterinary Orthopedic Society, and the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association.  He has also served on the Investigative Committee of the Arizona Veterinary Medical Examining Board and as a Director with the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association.
