Last Saturday, August 25th, was an exciting day at our newly relocated North Valley Hospital. We held an Open House to celebrate our new state-of-the art 11,300 sq. ft. facility. With the move we expanded from 6 exam rooms to 14 fabulous Pet Care Suites with see through aquariums, or windows to the outside of each suite. They are carefully designed to offer the best client and patient experience in a fear free environment.
We provided guided tours through our beautiful hospital so clients, family and veterinary professionals could see what we do and where we do it. 1st Pet Team Members were proud to show off our separate canine and feline waiting areas, our feline only rooms, and how we take pet comfort to a new level. We even took our guests behind the scenes to see where we perform surgeries, dentals, and ultrasound. Some even got to see our rehabilitation department in action with a dog doing his exercises on the underwater treadmill. Another patient was undergoing acupuncture in our rehabilitation therapy room where pets are also treated with laser therapy. We showed off our ICU, then our cat friendly kennels, and everyone got to see where their furry kids stay when they are not with them.
Our celebration included a delicious catered lunch complete with darling dog, cat and paw print cupcakes for dessert. Before they left our guests received a 1st Pet bag and many who played our spin-a-wheel won a prize.
We are grateful to all those who took time out of their busy day to come see our beautiful new hospital. We also want to thank all of our Team Members who worked extra hard to pull off this wonderful event.
