What’s your favorite part about working at 1st Pet?
I have been with first pet for 6 years. I started as an em Tech and moved myself up to em Tech supervisor. I started out with roles such as training, mentoring, and shift leading and I have grown so much and they have helped me succeed. I am a shy person so I feel like they have helped me come out of my shell.
I love everybody I work with.!! I have worked in this field for about 9 years now. I have worked in GP and EM department and I found that I love emergency. When the patients come in ill or hurt, it’s amazing how some of them can turn around and I feel rewarded for helping them and owners. I like doing all sorts of things and the EM department whether it be surgery to inpatient Care to outpatient care. Eventually I do want to work my way up to the rehab department once we grow more into that department.
When I started here at first pet, I have worked with technicians and they have grown to management positions and it’s amazing how this company helps you grow. What I also like about this company is the business aspect of it. Now that we have the GGOB in place I feel like it gives a lot of insight as to the behind the scenes and to me it’s very interesting. I feel like this would be a good place to work here because I feel like this is a good place to start your career and grow!
