What’s your favorite part about working at 1st Pet?
I have grown immensely since starting here. I came here back in 2013 from a small GP clinic, where the doctors did most everything themselves. I mostly did restraint, nail trims and paperwork. It wasn’t until I came here that I realized what kind of a tech I was.
This hospital has really shown me where I shine. I was able to be cross trained in all departments, including Emergency, GP and Internal Medicine. I love that the doctors here depend on us for diagnostics and trust us with these tasks. I work with some of the best and smartest techs and I am always learning new things. I think the best part though is the fact that you can ask for help anytime and someone is always right there to step in.
Our management team is amazing and completely supportive of their staff and they make that very known. I really couldn’t ask for a better company to work for.
