Dr. Emily Daigneault, a recent graduate from Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine, is participating in a mentorship here at 1st Pet Veterinary Center to advance her knowledge in Emergency Medicine. Originally planning to do clinical care for animals within research, veterinary school caused her interests to change from laboratory medicine to small animal emergency. Currently, she enjoys treating patients with traumatic wounds and infectious diseases.

In her free time, Dr Daigneault fills her life with an array of outdoor activities such hiking, camping, and kayaking. She also enjoys a good movie night with her partner, Brandon, and spending quality time with her dogs, Otto and Otis, and cat, Olly.
